The distressing on these jeans is good and the color is great. What I am not thrilled about is that by the end of the day they are really stretched out and baggy. I usually wear a 27 or 28 (27 always being snug) but I wish I had gotten a 26. They don't feel like they have much elasticene (sp) which I should have looked for before I purchased. Also the ankles are not tight at all like most skinny jeans are.
