Bought the Cambridge Satchel Company core mini 11" in black. I couldn't decide between black and oxblood but opted for black to complement my wardrobe better. I am slightly upset that the oxblood sold out, it was so pretty. I was considering getting a second bag. But the black is a great classic color. I liked a few other colors but ultimately, the bag is a classic and I feel that I will get more use out of black than any other options. I really recommend the bag, it's classic and vintage inspired, a true satchel school bag style purse and I'm very happy I got it. The price is really fair and the upside is you don't have to wait a long time for it to arrive like you usually have to wait if you order directly from the company. You can't get your initials embossed but that's not really important to me. I got the bag I have coveted for awhile now and it shipped really fast in excellent condition. There are some design "flaws" that I'm working past because I really love the bag. 1) It's unlined natural leather and quite stiff, so you have to be careful about pens or things that could leak and damage the bag (I'm going to use a RuMe nylon baggie all to solve this issue) 2) the leather is stiff and not buttery soft because it's natural leather and it's meant to support the structure of the satchel 3) The strap could use another loop for when you adjust the strap so it's shorter, the left over strap just sort of hangs there, but it's not a problem really 4) the bag has real buckles not magnetic snaps, so you have to unbuckle and re-buckle 2 buckles to get into the bag and close it, this slows you down a little and it doesn't look nice unbuckled, nor are your items secure if both are opened (you can just buckle 1 if you really don't like to be slowed down, though I do both) 5)you can't wear the bag in snowy rainy weather as per the instructions, so look into getting it protected by a leather professional if you have one in your neighborhood (try looking it up online). A few minor issues don't detract from the beauty of the bag. While you can't fit a ton in the bag, the essentials will fit. I have my wallet, phone, keys, lip balm, and a compact in there. Really beautiful, highly recommend.
