I'm 5'4", 125 lbs with a smaller waist and wider hips, and I love the way these shorts fit. Happily, there is no gapping at the waist, which is often an issue for me. Size 27 worked great for me; 28 was a bit big. . There are very short, so I'll use them as a cute cover up on a beach day.
