Whilst the shoe sizing is very accurate (I am a Size 9 in Australia, and I ordered a size 9) the proportions depicted on the model in the picture are WAY off! First of all, the actual sock bit of the boot reaches all the past my KNEE. And I am 5'6 tall. Also, on the photograph the boot looks like it'll have a somewhat fitted shape to your calf when pulled up to its full length (strethed out on your leg). But it's actually quite loose and baggy. I can't pull it all the way up as it quite thick and a little floppy, it tends to slide back down my leg and it doesn't really cling to my calf. My calves aren't even especially slim either - they're quite average in circumference with some muscle tone on them.Nevertheless I am quite satisfied with this boot. The colours and the fabric are just as depicted. It's so soft and comfy ! Great for winter, and it is quite an unusual shoe so you'll definite stick out! The soles are also super comfortable - though it does tend to feel a little loose in the heel. So maybe you can get away with sizing a half down, if you'd like.

I was excited to get these,they look warm and sexy too! They run huge though. I wear a 7 and these were swimming on me. If you are skinny the knit legs will be loose too. Sending them back. Probably would have kept them if they fit although I prefer a heel.
