Originally created in 2007 as a surfboard fin design company, former pro surfer Mitch Abshere started Captain Fin out of his garage in Southern California. Recognized as the first major brand to collaborate with a world class team of top surfers and artists in designing and producing artwork on surfboard fins, the brand has since expanded into the apparel and accessories market. Influenced by the surf and skate lifestyle as well as film and art - the brand's goal is to create quality goods while keeping it fun and creative with their carefree and unconventional approach, all the while constantly engaging and entertaining their fans and audience alike.
