I read about a thousand reviews before ordering these and had absolutely no idea what size I'd be. I'm a 30 waist / 42 hip, tend to take 29/30 in jeans (usually stretchy), and have big thighs. I got the Dee shorts in Digit in a 32 + in Muse in a 31 and somehow the Muse fits a bit looser. The waist on the Digit/32 is definitely generous (can fit my fist in the waistband), but I love how the shorts sit on me. It doesn't look too baggy I think maybe because the Digit is a bit shorter than the other Dee washes? By contrast, Muse/31 is baggier in the stomach area and around the thighs. So in sum: yes, the Dee short runs smaller, but the Digit wash in particular runs even more small. I definitely recommend ordering multiple washes in a few different sizes because it's such a crapshoot as to what will work on any given body. Good luck! :)

These are shorter than normal Dee shorts which are a bit too long for me (Im 5.4ft) The length is just about right, no one can see your butt from the back.! They sit very well, colour is beautiful, I really enjoy wearing those. I initially got size 26 ( my normal size across all brands) but with those had to size up for a more comfortable fit. Overall great buy and money well spent!
